About Us

Anaimo’s name comes from the fusion of the acronym AI, from Artificial Intelligence, with the Latin word Animus which means “the mind, in a great variety of meanings: the rational soul in a person, intellect, consciousness, will, intention, courage, spirit, sensibility, feeling, passion, pride, vehemence, wrath, life and soul”.

Past

From the experience of developing Machine Learning and neural networks since 2007 for top level clients in different countries, Anaimo built powerful AI solutions with the Anaimo AI SDK, which is cross platform and eases the development of AI solutions.

Present

Anaimo is helping companies and professionals to successfully use or develop AI solutions using the Anaimo AI SDK, open-source and third-party tools. The Anaimo AI SDK is today, in certain domains, comparable to any other leader AI SDK.

Future

Anaimo’s AI solutions will become widely used. The Anaimo AI SDK will be comparable to any other leader AI SDK in all domains.

David’s academic trajectory started in the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 1989 with a Computer Science bachelor, and furthered his studies with ESTEMA’s Executive MBA, MIT EDP in Entrepreneurship, and a long list of executive courses.

He has a wide expertise in programming, consulting, and managing, having worked as a programmer for Bankia, been a consultant at Accenture, acted as manager for Barclays and Everis and been the CEO of JMM. He founded edinn in 2004, where he pioneered neural networks in 2007 and has been the CEO since then.

Xenxo Vidal

Strategy Consultant / PhD Universitat de Barcelona

Xenxo is a mathematician and an actuary, and he is working on his PhD.

He has worked with big insurance companies, developing, and implementing Machine Learning models, as well as consulting for external firms, helping them in a wide spectrum of subjects, from programming languages and forecast modeling to data strategy plans. He imparts classes in the University of Barcelona while doing research on the field of quantitative risk modeling and asset pricing.

Fernando Lacaba

During the first 15 years of his career he worked as a professional in large companies. The last 12 years he has been involved in the development of large companies almost from the beginning and has been able to work as an intrapreneur inside the companies. Nowadays he has become an entrepreneur himself, and he is now trying to undertake several projects participating in the creation of different companies.

Miguel Ángel Cazorla

University Professor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Department

Computer Engineer and PhD from the University of Alicante. As a senior member of IEEE, he has contributed significantly to computer vision research, with over 60 indexed articles and numerous conference presentations. His work spans various areas, including robotics and deep learning. He has directed numerous doctoral theses, led national projects, and collaborated with industry, showcasing his dedication to advancing technology for societal benefit.
